The work of the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation and Youth Life Learning Centers is a work in progress. For the children we serve and those whom we seek to serve, there’s so much more to be done. More resources are needed to continue to deliver the kind of high-quality programs our children require. Highlighting his history making 20-year career with the Washington Redskins was Darrell Green’s most impressive run yet! The cornerback who counts 4 NFL’s Fastest Man titles amongst his many awards, premiered what may be the longest run of his fabled career with the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation’s (DGYLF) Go the Distance for Our Children campaign. The initiative is his long-term undertaking to continue to build support for the DGYLF’s programs serving children, families, and communities with the foundation’s Youth Life Learning Centers.

Through his work with DGYLF and the Youth Life Learning Centers , Darrell’s dedication to children has created a pathway to a better tomorrow as they learn how to become confident, responsible, and educated young adults. Parents have come to relish learning with their children and have grown from the parenting resources made available to them to create family lives where turmoil was once the norm.

Just as Darrell has opened his heart and the door to opportunity for so many children and their families, so can you! United Way

Each year, over 180,000 federal employees and military personnel make contributions through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC is the only authorized solicitation of employees in the federal workplace. In addition, many companies partner with the United Way to provide their employees with an opportunity to give something back to the community!
